Liturgical Choir

Our mission is to lead the parishioners in worship, and through music, "nurture each other in the life of personal communion with Christ". (Archbishop Demetrios - 2009 Liturgical Guidebook)

"Sing the words and tunes of the psalms and hymns when you are together, and go on singing and chanting to the Lord in your hearts, so that always and everywhere you are giving thanks to God who is our Father..." (Ephesisans 5:19-20)

Adult Choir:

We lead the congregation in praying and singing the Liturgy each Sunday and also sing for special feast days on weekdays. the choir is open to anyone 14 years of age or older. It rehearses each Sunday morning before Liturgy.  To learn more contact Chris Finger 303.652.2128.

Getting Involved:

If you enjoy singing you are invited to join the choir. There are no auditions, but it is expected that you will commit to faithful attendance for "Divine Liturgy" and rehearsals.  You are required to attend the rehearsal at 8:30am on Sunday morning in order to prepare and sing for the Liturgy that day.

Summer Choir
The St. Spyridon Summer Choir sings during the months of June and July.  This allows Liturgical Choir members to take a break and worship with their families.

"There is no more exalted activity human beings can engage in than to stand in the presence of the Living God and to lift up their voices to Him in prayerful, musically elevated utterance." (Fr. Sergei Glagolev)
