St. Ephraim Library

The St. Ephraim Library seeks to provide the means for parishioners to grow in their Christian faith by:

  • Making Orthodox reading and listening materials available for checkout in the format of books, CD's, and DVD's, and
  • Sponsoring several events throughout the year (Bible Trivia Game, Bookclub, Trapeza Tea, Drop and Give Me 20) to promote learning.

Our library has over 600 spiritual books. Categories include such topics as saints, monastics, prayer, parenting and family life, journeys into Orthodoxy, Medicine and Psychology, social issues, feast days, sacraments, Orthodox Theology, and creeds and worship, just to name a few.

Included in our library is a Reference Library of 35 rare or out-of-print books. Our collection of CD's and DVD's consist of audio books, lectures, sermons, and music. Items can be checked out for 4 weeks; with renewals as needed.

When We Meet:
The Library Team meets quarterly for planning and fellowship. The Library is staffed each Sunday during Fellowship Hour but is open anytime for browsing, self check-out, or self check-in.

Age Group:
The Library has materials for young children, teens and adults. Activities are geared for all ages as well.

Getting Involved:
All are welcome to check out materials regularly or to serve on the Library Team.
