Dear St. Spyridon Family:
As Orthodox Christians we are called to reflect Christ’s love to our brothers and sisters with grace and obedience.
As you may have read, Larimer County has reinstated a mask mandate for public, indoor gatherings effective this Wednesday, October 20, due to the increasing covid cases in Larimer county.
Metropolitan ISAIAH has instructed us to honor the local authorities public health directions regarding COVID 19. In orthodox obedience to our bishop’s direction and in the spirit of love and grace toward our community St. Spyridons will be asking all parishioners to wear masks while inside the church buildings in accordance with local health directives starting on Wednesday. This order includes all buildings in the church complex and all events.
We understand that these directives elicit strong opinions. Please pray that our community can prayerfully navigate through this delicate situation with grace, love, integrity and an unwavering trust in our Savior's providential guidance and care.
You can read the county order here: Larimer County Covid Guidance
Thank you for your patience, love and understanding.
In Christ,
The Clergy and Parish Council of St. Spyridon
