With great pleasure, we invite you to St. Spyridon’s 3rd Annual Lenten Retreat, March 3-5.
Our Retreat Master will be Father Andrew Stephen Damick, an archpriest of the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America and a well-known Ancient Faith podcaster and author.
Fr. Andrew will be speaking on the theme “Salvation and the Unseen World.” As Christians, we believe in an unseen world of angels, demons and saints. But does this unseen reality have any direct bearing on the core elements of what it means to be Christian? What do demons have to do with the gospel? Do angels have any relationship to salvation? How does paganism fit into the Biblical and Christian picture? Friday’s session will be Youth Night (of all ages). Fr. Andrew’s topic will be “Middle-earth and Christ” and we will find out what the characters of the Lord of the Rings have to say about our faith!
Cost is $15 for adults, $5 for college students, $0 Youth.
