Why these services?

Lenten Services
March 13, 2021

- Amanda Brown -

With Lent starting this week, I am eagerly awaiting diving into the gift that lent gives us. The peace, the refocusing, and submersing ourselves in church.

This past week, I met with Father Evan to discuss the lenten services over on my personal YouTube channel - Growing This Home. I wanted to learn more about the services and why do we celebrate them? What is their purpose in the lenten services lineup? What is the tradition that surrounds them? After 6 years in the church, you would think I would know the answer to these questions. I was so excited to learn more about these services and the traditions that surround them!
