Walk & Give to End Local Hunger – 2022
Many thanks to the walkers and donors!

We ended our month’s long service project to help fight hunger in northern Colorado with a walk on October 1 from Saint Spyridon to Benson Sculpture Park. We appreciate our parishioners’ participation and contributions!
The $1,998 donated will be sent to the food banks and community programs that help our neighbors have food security.

These include: The House of Neighborly Service, Loveland Community Kitchen, Larimer County Food Bank and Weld County Food Bank

Our St. Spyridon Philoptochos Chapter is part of the National Philoptochos Society, which is made up of more than 400 chapters and 26,000 members across the U.S. Celebrating 85 years, Philoptochos is the largest Christian women's philanthropic organization in the nation. Philoptochos, which means "friends of the poor" in Greek, is a philanthropic arm of the church, providing aid to the poor, the hungry and those in need in our parish, community, country and across the globe. We use our time to connect with those in need, our treasure to help send funds to various causes, and our talents to form relationships, continually seeking new avenues to fulfill Christ's call to help those in need.
