Darrell (Seraphim), a Colorado native, and his wife Lisa have two children, Abigail and Benjamin, as well as a grandson, Arlo. Darrell earned a B.S. in Nursing from Seattle Pacific University and a B.S. in Perfusion Technology from Rush University in Chicago. He worked as a perfusionist, assisting cardiac surgeons across Colorado’s Front Range, and is now retired. Darrell entered the Orthodox Church in 2008 and is currently volunteering as the parish's sacristan (sexton), and as a co-leader for the Altar Care and Adult and Youth Acolyte ministries.
