Pilgrimage to the bridegroom

great lent 2025

Book Discussion

Journey together this Pascha along a path from darkness into light through practical, challenging, soul-searching wisdom for spiritual life.

Based on Scripture, ancient hymns, and writings from Church Fathers, the daily encouragements will help guide us all along the path of holiness in thought, word, and deed.

Interested in community discussion? Meet in the Upper Room at 7:30pm following Pre-Sanctified Liturgies to dive deeper into your reading. Click below to sign up.

Eleos discipline

The Eleos Discipline is an opportunity to prepare ourselves during Great Lent to meet the Bridegroom. Here is how it works: Place a vigil lamp in your family prayer corner or in a central place of your home, such as at the dinner table. Beside it, have a reservoir of olive oil. As a family, or on your own, fill and light your lamp; and throughout Great Lent by practicing acts of mercy and love, and thus keep your lamp lit. Day by day, as our vigil lamps remain lit, we prepare ourselves to meet the Bridegroom. As Great Lent comes to its close and Holy Week begins, we hope that all of us will be ready with lamps shining bright to meet the Bridegroom and we will enter with Him into the wedding banquet. Visit the bookstore or click below to order your vigil lamp today.
